TraceForge (“we”, “our”, “the Service”) provides fraud evidence capture, case reconstruction, and intelligence analysis tools for victims, investigators, and recovery teams. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information (email, authentication data)
  • User-submitted evidence (images, screenshots, chat logs, documents)
  • Parsed text, OCR output, and metadata extracted from evidence
  • Intelligence Engine results (fingerprints, taxonomy, entity links, conversation reconstruction, risk scoring)
  • Case data created manually or through mobile ingestion
  • Subscription and billing information (handled by Stripe)
  • Technical data (IP address, device type, browser version)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Reconstruct fraud cases
  • Generate intelligence analysis
  • Produce investigator-ready PDF reports
  • Improve product performance and reliability
  • Enforce billing and plan limits
  • Maintain security and prevent abuse

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except for essential service providers (e.g., Stripe for billing, Supabase for storage).

3. Evidence Storage and Retention

TraceForge stores user-submitted evidence until the user deletes it. This includes:

  • Uploaded images and documents
  • OCR text and parser output
  • Intelligence Engine results
  • Case history and metadata

Users may delete cases or individual evidence items at any time. Deleted data is permanently removed from our systems.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not share your evidence or intelligence results with investigators, banks, exchanges, or law enforcement. You choose what to export or share.

5. Payment Information

We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe handles:

  • Credit card numbers
  • Billing addresses
  • Subscription status

TraceForge does not store or process credit card numbers.

6. Data Security

We use:

  • Supabase secure storage
  • Encrypted transport (HTTPS)
  • Access controls
  • Audit logs (for Pro accounts)
  • Industry-standard security practices

No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Your Rights

  • Delete your account
  • Delete evidence
  • Export your data
  • Request support regarding privacy

8. Children’s Privacy

TraceForge is not intended for children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
